Is there a mockup of the rosewood blocked version?
Shoot, at that price, I think I'll order the LOG bass, even though it has the built in thumb rest!! LOL...
Randy...... one with maple please!!
Hi there,So Lakland'ers...Have there been any specs released on the Bob Glaub 5 Skyline? Definitely interested in a P and definitely interested in a 5 string. Just wondering about scale length, neck width at nut, and string spacing at bridge. I like in a very small town so it is difficult to try out different basses. Thanks!
Awesome, thanks guys. Wife has okayed up to about $1500 for a new bass for my birthday (in June) so this may turn out to be perfect.
This may be blasphemy in here, but any guesses on how the BG5 will compare to the Fender American P5?

LOL!!! Are you serious Terry? Ordering a 5er LOG bass?![]()
You should probably also take a look at the forthcoming Lakland "LOG bass" if you're interested in a P5 ( Link Removed ). A limited edition bass (with a VERY attractive price tag) that's pretty cool and will apparently be available before the other Glaub 5's.
If I had to guess, I'd say the Lakland's would be as good, if not better than any Fender. You're talking to a semi-biased group here though
But really, the Lakland stuff, including the Skyline series, are top-notch. And I guarantee, if needed, the customer service from Lakland blows any major manufacturers customer service completely away.
