Anyways, we still have to sell our house here and move into an apartment here so my wife can finish her experiments by December. So lots of moving but I will let you know when the addresses actually change.

too bad you are not coming to Chicago.....we could get you to the factory!

all of the dealers are listed on the Lakland web site....maybe you can talk to Leo ([email protected]) and have him make sure the particular dealer you are going to will have a JO and an HB there for you....just a thought....he may be able to direct you to a dealer as well...

So It'll be probably a close race between a JO and a HB (as I tried this one in Montreal and really digged the sound too!) and maybe a DJ but I'm not sold on what I tried (I really think the JO didn't have the classic J sound that I usually don't like whilst the DJ had it but YMMV)

So aside from some advice, Do you know a place in NYC where I could be able to try at least a JO and a HB? at a good price? I'd love to find one used too so If you plan to get rid of any skyline JO4 or HB and are ok to wait until september then count on me!

CONGRATS!!!!

I had to close that for sale thread fast myself since I love shoreline gold and have been wanting an HB for a while myself....you will enjoy it....

I know I'm getting a little ahead of myself here, but I just wanted to drop a line and say I have a LOG membership pending! :hyper:

Liked a Skyline JO, but then also played a 44-02 on two separate occasions (must've played about 15-20 different basses over the course of 6-8 visits to music shops). After the 2nd 44-02 demo, I plunked down a deposit on a deluxe w/ a natural quilted maple top. Pretty basic & subdued color scheme, but I love the way it looks, feels, and sounds.

Will post pics and request "official" membership when I pick it up.
