I totally understand what I typed...don't understand what's hard to understand. Makes perfect sense in context.

"is does" don't make sense--no way, no how. Oh well, that is now resolved.

Hey Markus, I know I saw it posted somewhere previously, but without going back through the Mother of all Threads, what pickups are you using in your P? Those Laklands? Why did you decide to switch out the Chi? Thanks.

Yeah...I had a single coil chisonic in it and it sounded killer...the two problems I had were...lots on hum in my house(built in the 50's)... The other was that my JOCSs with the neck solo'd sounded almost exactly the same. I decided to go with the Lakland pickup, and man..I'm so happy I did! It just kills!

A-Ha! That brings it all back. I knew I read why(the hum), just couldn't remember. If you guys aren't talking basses, you're talking Chicago-style pizza or Chipotle, etc. It's hard for a dude with a foggy mind to keep track.

Glad you like the swap. It looks killer and, i'm sure, sounds waaaay better!

It looks very similar to a Franklin Strap that I have.... but, as usuall, I may be wrong
