That works too, I do that some on the Tele. But, I prefer my thumb to be 90 degrees to the bass' body.

So I'm actually (surprisingly) starting to get a little excited about the show we're doing with Papa Roach tomorrow, mainly due to some of the killer Lakies I was seeing on their site. Tobin has a bunch of them!

we are playing with fuel on tuesday, and we were supposed to play with Janus a couple weeks ago, but they had some emergancy and had to cancel.

I don't anchor my thumb! On a J the guard is smaller and doesn't bug me...but the p guard is bigger.
