Ummm yeah... has nothing to do w/ my love for movies from my child hood right? :D

BUT, i DO tell my daughter (when she's bending over in her low cut jeans) that she's "releasing the CRACK-en!!"

OK OK....stop being such a realist!

this is NO place for realism!!!

UNLESS of course it is a REAL Lakie!!!

Actually, the US dollar is about even with the Canadian dollar over the last 6 months.

And over the past year, the US dollar has risen against a basket of six major currencies. I'm just sayin'.;)

actually...That line is from one of the Tolkein Trilogy movies....or MAYBE from one of the Harry Potter movies....I forget which....

there IS a line where a main character says somehting like "It smells like Orc in here"....

I don't know the line... I don't even know what that's from or anything...so I figured it had to be dork-alicious.

nope....won't be golden.....will be "Jade".....maybe THAT will be her new name!

as for sending it to you....:spit::rollno: you have NOTHING I would want in trade.....except for......nah....they are all 20% defective...EVEN though they are hot hot hot....

Yeah...me too! That and the matching headstock, and I think you're golden...then you just send it to me. See how easy that was?:hiding:

......and an airfare down here.......how are you gonna get by customs with that many basses???? they will stop you from importing.......I can see it now:

J: "yes Mr. Customs Agent?"

Agent: "Are you going to sell those basses?"

J: "No just going to enjoy them all"

Agent: "ALL of them? where is your other luggage"

J:"OTHER luggage? um.....WHO needs "other" luggage when you have Lakies!"

Agent: "Where did you get them all?"

J: " they were - um "donated" by a down on his luck American who's dollar is shrinking"

Agent: "Well in that case...carry on!"

Jes: you can play them ANYtime you can get down here....as long as I get Elk!!!

I can deke out any Canadian customs official.

Aw crap: there I go again. What I meant to say was 'It'd be so cool to be able to deke out any Canadian customs official.' I'd be bringing home cases of Mr. Coppolla's best wines, plus as many of your pretty axes as I could carry. As it is, that conversation would likely end up with me paying duties if any of what I left with was a skyline. I'm in the clear for anythign US-made, though... taxes aside.

But would I be able to slip a couple of elk steaks past *US* customs? Those guys are nasty.

Oh: Last week we had these great burgers. We found patties made from a blend of bison, deer and boar (all from Québec-grown animals). The boar was a nice addition because the higher fat acted as a binder on the other two super-lean meats and kept the patties from disintegrating on the barbecue. And they tasted freakin' delish.

If you're ever up in the Great White North on business or pleasure, We're in for a wicked meal.

PS: 'Deep Blue' = epic win.

OK...which P bass should get the flats...

Darkstar Sea Monster?

or

Hanson Neo Mr. Pink?

I'm thinking the Monster, but curious what you fine lads, and ladesses think....
Try the Sea Monster first, but you have to do both. I'm running my DS'd Glaub with Sunbeams, but I want to try the HiBeams I have. And my Reverend PJ actually sounded best to my ears with flats--it tempered the nasal quality of the bridge pickup.
