Holy crap....you are like photoshop superman.....but no...lol. I don't like the way it comes down to the bridge pickup. Something more like this pickguard

I agree with that about the horn, but I prefer the profile of the other pickguard on the bottom. A little more "J" like.
LOL....what do you think about a torte pickguard on the double J?

For whatever reason, I just don't care for pick guards except on Jazz basses with the traditional Jazz control plates (I really have a tough time with Jazz basses with just the control plate and no guard!). They're fine on basses that need the guard to cover up routs or holes. But I especially like 55's without guards.
That being said, I do love a white bass with a RW neck and tort guard....

I have a guard on every bass I own except for my Hollowbody. But man, that trans white is so nice I'd be tempted to leave it uncovered.
OK. Maybe I need to revise my statement. I do love most white basses with a RW neck and tort guard....

I am with regret going to have to relinquish my LOG number soon. I love my 5502D tone, looks and versatility but I just can't get comfortable with it. I have small hands and 19mm string spacing + 35" scale is too big for me to play quickly with ease. I wonder if there is such a thing as finger lengthening surgery? I can't even hit an octave spread on a piano. Oh well I'll just have to admire from afar unless there are some narrower Lakland bridges out there I don't know about.

I don't think you'll have to get rid of it. I have silly small hands as well, and the way I dealt is by moving homebase to the fifth fret, because playing down below there gets to be a bit of a stretch. Starting with fret 5 makes everything less of a stretch than playing the dark frets on a 34" scale bass would as well.
There's always the spacing issue as well, but maybe if you're not dealing with *two* issues, you can get used to it?
