I have the poor man's version of that bass: a MIM P-Bass that I installed a Darkstar in. I love it! I know your's will be like the Mercedes Benz of P-Darkstars in comparison to my MIM. I love the sound of Darkstars, and they are perfect for a P platform. Mine had white guard, but I put a black pearl pickguard on it, and it really looks nice. I'll try to post a pic. The rosewood sans markers is classy too. Congrats!

So, you picked that one up! Very nice. I too perceive that my Dunn has a slightly darker Sonic Blue (more like Daphne Blue ) headstock. I wonder if they're applied at different times using seperate batch mixes.
