send a pm to Kinetic Shadow. he is on here ....scroll back a page or two to find his post. He has a Stealthy Skyline. He HAD a black painted lakland logo-ed bridge on it. I think he mentioned removing it for one reason or the other ....and selling it to someone else here.
But ask those guys...they can hook ya up with details and info you seek. good luck
Got mine direct from Hipshot, just give 'em a call and ask for Justin. He'll hook you up.
oh SURE, just rub it in....

Yeah I know, and to think she's hung around for 18 years plus and even took me to GC today to check out some gear.![]()
Thanks bro!! I will do that. Got a bad *** master plan for the JOBO I'm getting. Black hardware is on the list of must have's.

Not a problem, you may have guessed that I completely dig black![]()

I believe you have to turn in your chrome bridge due to restrictions... Lakland doesn't want people putting their bridges, w/ "Lakland" stamping, on non-Lakies. You may be able to get one thru Lakland, via an exchange. It's been a while since I called Hipshot to ask for a black bridge, all I know is the answer was "no, not being made for bass owners."

sifi76 said:Speaking of Hipshot, anyone know which Xtender Key to get for d-tuning a 4-07/4-94? I might have to mail the guys at Lakland I think.
Kinetic Shadow said:I just got one a couple months back from Hipshot and did not have to exchange it. Sold it to Gordon and put the original chrome back on. The reason I removed it was that it sapped some of the zing and mellowed the tone out a bit, which didn't cut it for me on the 44-02.
I recently bought a reverse style tuner with the longer stem by contacting Brian at Lakland directly. Easy as pie.Speaking of Hipshot even further....does anyone know if Hipshot sells the same vintage wound tuners that are on the US JO and Glaub? Thanks!
