Are you saying that you have a US Glaub w/ an Osborne neck (jazz neck w/ 1.5" nut width)??

And the radius you talk of.... are you referring to the curve across the fretboard (E to G string)? Or were you referring to the neck's thickness front (fretboard) to back (where your thumb rests)?

I've had some Korean Skyline Glaubs and I noticed a flatter radius fretboard than what I expected and have seen on other US Laklands (not Glaubs). I've also noticed that the neck width at the heel was skinnier on Korean Skys than US basses. The frets are slightly different but very close in size also. BUT, I did NOT feel that Sky necks were thicker front to back.... thickness felt the same as US models.

I'd call Lakland and clarify any size, radius, etc differences vs the US basses, if it's a serious concern.

Yes, it's 1.5 at the nut like a Jazz bass. I do not know when the JO's went into production, but this was the last US BG made in 2002.

By "flatter" I do mean across the fingerboard from E-to-G rather from from front-to-back (or top-to-bottom).

It's not a "serious concern"; I'm just wondering if the JO necks are relatively flat (flatter than my Jazzes, anyway) across like this neck.

Doing the irish thang tonight (corned beef and cabbage) since we will be traveling on Saturday (to milwaukee for my wife's high school band director's retirement)......come to think about it.....tomorrow may be an interesting day for me.....get out the beanno!

My wife has never had real indian food.....I love it!

Just compared the radius of my US Decade (same neck as JOs) and it's the same as my US F3nd3r jazz.

Nordy (maybe only on the LOG bass)

I hear ya.
Active has it's place and of course so does passive.
I just happen to like Active best.
I DO like the vibe passive can dish out.
Just not as often.

I think I might get that Audere Classic Pre Amp installed in the US Firemist decade. ( like Matt did ) :bassist:
And then maybe leave the US sonic blue Darryl Jones with Chi buckers passive and as is.
