Was in Denver headed to Dallas for the week...

Wow....alot of travel for you as well...

Finally back near home....luckily I was able to get done early...also I drove so it was easy to leave....airfares are so tough to change these days...no more "friendly skies"......they take $$$ for everything

I'm not going anywheres but hospitals and doctors, so I'll just live vicariously thru you people. But, the doc has ok'd our planned cruise in June, one week in South Carribean out of San Juan. A definite reward for fighting this bitch cancer.

Sorry Gary...that sucks man...hope you and Deanna can enjoy the cruise!I am sure you both need it......
Peace and prayers bro

The cruise sounds like an awesome trip. And you're definitely deserving of the reward. My sister is currently doing the treatment thing. She had surgery and reconstruction a couple of weeks ago and is doing the chemo now. It's a hard battle - and I wish you the best and a great time on your cruise.

Looks like extended prayers are needed.....

Ah yes, I know the Florida Mall. My ex and I lived out in Winter Garden (or as it was sometimes referred to, Winter Garbage :D); I commuted to Maitland and she to Altamonte Springs--hated those drives.

Heh, I bet they didn't mind watching.;) Yeah, the store seems to have a pretty amazing inventory (though Bass Club is great in its own right). I have relatives in Oviedo and my girlfriend's never been to Disney, so I expect we'll make it there sooner rather than later.

Amber has never been to disney? Wow......I do expect you will go soon....make sure to bring your lakie!

Hey Lakland brethren... One of the bands I play with is doing 2 shows this week in the Raleigh/Chapel Hill area in NC. Thursday nite we are at The Hibernian in Raleigh. Friday we are at Kildare's in Chapel Hill. Perhaps some Laklanders would be interested in checking out a show or two if you're in the area?

Also, we're trying to figure out some inexpensive but clean/safe lodging options in the Raleigh area for an overnight stay after the gig. If you are familiar with the area and have some suggestions, feel free to PM me.

Here's the band if you want to check us out - sort of Bluegrass/Jazz/Rock fusion, and we have a great relationship with the Americana/Jam scene as well:

Darn it! Wish I were around.....have not been down in that area for a while....
Have some great shows Bryan!

If ever there was a fight that deserved a nice cruise, it's the one you're fighting right now.

Power, brother. And I don't mean that as a pithy, throwaway line.

Best wishes and good vibes to everyone dealing with any type of sickness. I lost my favorite aunt to Breast Cancer 12 years ago. She loved Penguins and it wasn't until about 6 months after her passing that I broke down...ironically at a Redwings vs Penguins game. I saw the penguin on their jersey, thought of Karen and just lost it at the Joe in Detroit. I'm tearing thinking about it. I hope you all come out of this.

Played my new-to-me fretless 55-94 with my band last night. It sounded absolutely amazing however... not going to lie here... it was a bit of a bear to play in tune. I've been shedding pretty hard on it for the week I've had it but apparently I have been subtly leaning over it to see where I'm at. Can't do that so much standing with a proper strap and looking at my bandmates for cues or watching the drummer. Oh well, it will get better and I'm loving the sound and feel of the bass. I think it's a keeper. :D
