If you are talking about the list way back at the start of this thread, yes, it's the number of posts in the last thread before it was closed and the new one started. A new thread has to be started every 1,000 posts. We're working toward 57,000 in the LOG so far.

Otherwise, as Gary said, you might be talking about club membership numbers.

I heard good things about the current Wall tour.....As many of you know, I was in Cleveland for a seminar and some meetings last weekend...one of the guys flew to CHi-town friday evening (from the seminar in Cleveland) - saw teh Wall and made it back to our meeting in Cleveland about 9 AM saturday morning...that is dedication!

well....there are 2 lists:

1) at the beginning of each thread from GregC which shows how many posts the "top posters" in each thread have.

2) the LOG member list with members in order of requesting numbers....

We're working toward 57,000 in the LOG so far.

57,000...think about it folks.....I think that is about 10,000 a year!

Was wondering if someone could tell me what to expect if I set the pre amp midrange setting to 250 from the current default setting of 600 on my 4402 Deluxe. I'm trying to get a bit more bottom end. Would this be the best setting to enhance my low end?

Thanks for the info. I assume you mean the tone control knob. Excluding crazy eq settings, does bass quality suffer (boomy, muddy) by doing this? I play mostly finger style and very little slapping.

But, I'm not quite sure, the more I play my 4-string, I just feel like that's the type of bass best-suited for the majority of my groups and projects I'm involved with. If it was a 44-07 in Ice Blue, well, we'd probably have a problem . MORESO if I was interested in visiting the Lakland showroom/ Factory or whatnot, would I call in advance or just walk in? Mom works for the airlines and it's an easy flight to hop on from KS and I may be able to on Thursday or so. Would that be ridiculously short notice? Just so I can get a feel for the US models and test a range of Laklands to the point where I kind of know what they bring to the table on a more physical, in-person level. Not that I don't trust what you guys say at all, but if everyone liked the same thing, that'd be boring =D. I'm sure based on what I've heard I'll dig them VERY much, just want to get my hands on the US models .

Something about the US that makes the heart warm!

Make sure and set up a date and time to visit the shop. The crew there is awesome and friendly and they love to show folks around, but they do get busy. I live 15 minutes' drive from the shop, but I always call first.

I highly recommend you go, though. I'd be surprised if anyone didn't walk out of there with a terrible case of GAS.

Thanks man! Really appreciate the help! Also GregC, I originally sent Leo and Brian both emails concerning the visit, but they didn't really answer my question about it, so I'm not sure lol. I guess I'll just resend an email voicing the question, because it'd be great to go around the shop and see kind of what's going on, but I can definitely understand how it'd be repetitively annoying for people to keep on doing that.

On a side note, it's official guys! My mom has got the tickets (she works for the airlines and we can get on almost any flight), and my dad and I are heading to Chicago Thursday to (maybe?) go to Lakland, Bass Club Chicago, and any other bass retailers that have Laklands, because I just really don't have a great way to play them here in Kansas =/. I'm psyched!!
