Love my 44-02, love the Barts.
 
Just have to say that after about 4 mo's with my '99 55-94, this thing is the shizzle.
I had a 55-02 in maybe 2001/2002, and wasn't really impressed so was skeptical about buying another but heard about the original US ones were just such amazing pieces, and yeah definitely have to concur. I'm not sure how I lived w/out the tone controls on this thing either before lol.

welcome to or addiction....Skylines are GREAT but US models??? wow....

I had a few weeks where I just played one of my Skylines pretty regular (due tot he music we were playing etc...I needed a straight ole' P bass)...

after a few weeks, I grabbed one of my US models "just because"and shezzam! it felt even more wonderful!
