Yeah. We've got no running water (which, seeing as it's subzero at the moment, makes a bathroom run a bit of a chore), and we have to heat with wood, but the magic of the iPhone keeps me abreast of the LOG goings-on. Heh...

technology is a wonderful thing!

doesn't the Iphone have a "running water" app? they seem to have EVERYTHING else....!!!!

How do you charge up?

getting me some great steaks???? I just bought the 2013 whiskey bible so I ma learning up on a few new ones to try....would make a great pairing!

Thanks Bart :)
Hope the move is as smooth as a move CAN be :)
Have been working on it.
Darn oils take forever to dry, holding up progress.:rollno:

yup....that is part of why artists worked years on pictures!!! and could go back and "fix mistakes" with some ease...they could "scrap the paint off" and redo parts...even days later...makes shadowing and blending easier though...

....are you staying "sober" or are the fumes getting to you?

How do you wear your Lakie? I like mine matching my outfit.

disco baby!!!!

Randy (blonde mix) had a white belt BUT that is wild....

....ahhh.....and again....your singer...well.... ;)

PS - I have been known to match the color I wear to my Lakie ...at least ever since I did it on accident and one of the female singers made a big deal out of it...and said she thought it was cool.... :)

yeah interesting stuff.
Always been an acrylic person.
But Oils are cool and quite different.
Having a lot of fun.
Hope this Lakland painting comes out decent?

I am sure it will....you are a perfectionist

;)

ahhh indeed I am.
Part of the reason I am having a touch time with this painting.
Torn between trying to make it factual and fairly accurate?
Or go bananas and just be more impressionistic?

Thinking stick with a more factual look on this one..
Then maybe do another one more funky down the road.

On another note...That buckeye Burl 44-94 sitting pretty at Bass Central is driving me NUTS!!! I WANT IT!!!
Just need to get Beaver to come to grips on the crazy high price and make a good deal on it.

Congrats! Now lets see some pics!

It would be great if u could post pics on the talkbass app straight from a mobile phone. I will have to find the energy to upload some pics to the laptop n take it from there. Time spent messing about with pics is time spent from playing my new Lakland ;-)

When did this new vesion come out? I never heard anyone saying talkbass is using a new and different app. Please advise

i dont know when it came out otherwise I would of used it sooner. ive hot 2 talkbass apps on my phone. talkbass.com and the one i was previously using talkbass forums. this is all i know.
