Last week, I've decided that my Lakie is my main gigging bass, especially when I don;t know what kind of PA I'm going to encounter. The vintage Fender is fantastic but doesn't suit all locations. The Lakie just always works

I used it two weeks ago at a radio gig:

I love the white...can't decide between White or Sunburst for my 44-60.

LOL J!!!! There were a "few" female bassists at the last GTG...Tat can attest to that.....besides, we always welcome females..whether they play or not...

I agree...I needed it as well...was suppsoed to be home "early" yesterday...ended up working until close to 7!...argh...you people of the Left Coast have a tendancy to send "urgent" emails at the END of MY business day!!! messes me up.... oh well...

Just started laying paint to canvas tonight on my first bass painting.
Taking an oil painting class one night a week.
Sketched out my Lakland Hollowbody as my first.
Want to hang it in my home office.

Cannot wait to get it completed!!

Will try to snap pics of it in progress as it gets more in depth.
Used this exact shot as reference and cropped in on it some.

way cool Danno! I cannot wait to see the progress....did a charcoal of my T-40 when I was in high school...a little smudgey now but still cool...

what detail this guy goes through!!! that is a remarkable job!

had a whole lot of session gigs and recordings in the past 2 weeks. this thing is my gigging machine last nights gig was so much fun.

Brian, I just heard "Rhino" on the new LOG CD for the first time. That was fun. Great tune!

Yup....I love it as well! its even cooler if you take it "tounge in cheek" as Brian meant it to be...

this was Brian's second submission...the first one..though HILLRIOUS did not pass the censors.....due to a Miley Cyrus reference about her latest B-day cake.....BUT it was/is hillarious!!!

I am sure he will share it if you PM him....

My vote goes to the white. But I'm burst-averse, so I'd vote for almost anything over a burst. The white in this case just happens to be wicked looking.

Yeah. We've got no running water (which, seeing as it's subzero at the moment, makes a bathroom run a bit of a chore), and we have to heat with wood, but the magic of the iPhone keeps me abreast of the LOG goings-on. Heh...

Poor Walt Zombie was left on the editing room floor. But I guess the reference to her boyfriends birthday cake was just a bit too much for some It wasn't so much the cake but what she was doing to it Well I guess it was the cake too
