Nice! Now if we had one with both you and the Doude on Abbey Road that would be priceless. Have fun!

Glad it put a smile on your face, I hope it doesn't start any "Paul" rumors with him lying in the road.

On a Lakland "on topic" note:
Looking forward to getting these new DR Marcus Miller strings OFF my Burl 44-94 when I get back..
Not my thing.
I find them to .........well ummm not nickle like...hahaha!!
I just like DR Nickle Low riders I guess...should not have bothered trying these M.Miller Stainless out.
Lastly...the US Scheff seems to still be my favorite Lakland![]()
Well darn. You never can tell where I will show up. Perhaps, I should crash your tiki bar networking event and show up with a truckload of basses whimpering to be made famous as models.....
Barely missed you! Sitting in DIA waiting for a flight to KC,MO
...ahhh.... I get it now.... Hi dear Lakland friends... Here are some pics to share...
Blessings,

+1, I'll be the first to admit I don't really know what I'm doing when I take pics of my basses, but the Nikon I use at least makes them not suck as much.

oh yeah, on topic...I like me some Laklands... ( since this is not a photography forumlol )
I'm sure I will too, but right now this Lak is rocking my world and making the band sound very good too.

supposed to even the tension for each string, so that you get less variability in volume/output per string. and ostensibly more comfort. I ordered a set the other day, back order for a few weeks, but I'll give a review for the team when I get my hands on them.
Here's the 44-64 I got recently, just finished a little Black Bart style makeover this evening - allow me to introduce - Penumbra

All black hardware and pickguard from Lakland, I'm actually keeping this one passive
And here's the kicker, I was told it was a 2010 when I bought it, but during the tear down I found 07-15-11 DWG written on the neck.
interesting....why don't all manufacturers just "do that"?
VERY nice Brian!?
hmmm...so it is a 2011?
why the name?
I may need to look it up...
whew! finally caught up...sorry for the wave people....back to your locally metered postings!
hmmmm...interesting....Sexy Chocolate (and your 55-02) has a 1.75 neck...measure it.....
I love 1.75 necks!!!

Love Penumbra Brian, has a certain resemblance to a Fender we both had a fling with.
Love these!! The PALE and the DARK.
Nice surprise!!
Thanks all!
Lurch was the testing ground for what I wanted in a P-bass, now brought to perfection in a US Lakland.
The Yin and Yan, Spy vs. Spy, the Panda Duo...
Ah come on, like I wasn't going to get rid of the chrome and tort![]()
you already saw it a few pages ago....and asked about the "original concept"....sheesh!!!
Also, LOG site needs to get Tapatalked so that I can actually head over from time to time. You know: Bend over backwards for me, just because I'm a great guy? Yeah, yeah...
