It's been a bumpy few days, but knowing that you all prayed for him or sent positive thoughts has been comforting. I'm glad to count you all among my friends.

Valentine's day was (accidentally) my anniversary with the missus. Sad to think that you were undergoing that very special brand of pain while we were having a nice wine and simple supper.

I came late to parenthood. I was already 39 when Camille was born almost two years back. I know that she and I will have less time together by default than will someone who had his kids in his 20s, but I was in no way ready for that back then. I still think sometimes that we're going to miss a lot, though...

Thank you all again from the bottom of my heart. He had a good life and he was loved by a lot of people. The past three years had been difficult for him as he fought leukemia. He was fortunate to get accepted into an experimental drug program that gave him some additional time, but it was an experiment that destroyed his liver. Still, I don't think he'd have changed one single thing. I'm gonna miss him.

Sorry for your loss Tat, it's tough losing a father. Lost mine a bit over a year ago, so prayers and blessings toward you during this time.
