I picked up a 2009 US Bob Glaub locally and am very happy with it! The seller said he swapped out the original PUP with a Nordstrand and couldn't tell me what the original PUP was. I'd like to get it back to original spec. Anyone know what PUP this most likely shipped with?

Love the classic look, congrats! The stock pickup would have been a Hanson Neopunch. They switched to those from Fralins in late 07/early 08.

Looks like you have a jazz width (at nut) neck on her too? Or maybe a 1.65" nut width? Definitely doesn't appear to be the 1.75".

What do I win if I'm right? ;):bassist:

My favorite is the 1.65" like the 44-94, EBMM, '51 P etc have. But, I don't have issues w/ a 1.5" either. Absolutely can't play a 1.75" due to the wider string spacing in the money area of the fretboard. It's weird how much 0.1" throws me off!

(I believe the change was made in late 2007/early 2008.) And they do sound different, you can hear it in the soundclips on Lakland's site. The Fralin has more of an old-school P tone, while the Hanson sounds more aggressive with more upper-mid content. Both great pickups, IMO, just different flavors.

The 1.65 is my favorite now also.
Since playing the 44-07 and Scheff I am spoiled.
The 44-94 is cool too.
But the 44-07 and Scheff are my favorites.
All 3 are 1.65 :bassist:

Funny, 1.65 is pushing it for me, more comfortable with 1.5. The Scheff and 44-94 are the only one's in the Schwarzwald that are wider.

Congrats! IMO, there's no such thing as a bad-looking DJ.
