Pulled out the Skyline Duck tonight for a Motown spin. Holy pentatonic, Batman! This has to be the the best sounding and easiest playing bass of all the ridiculous number I've acquired. Easy on the eyes too. Guess I might as well sell the rest.

These are the "classic" jazz pickups. I put them in tonight and well a couple hours of playing later, I am most pleased. As you said very organic like my other LP - just seem to open up the bass and provide excellent clarity. Rumbling lows, defined mids, piano-like highs![]()
