Ok, I'll join in the friday fun.
It's day after NBD for me so here's a crappy office shot:
I snuck out at lunch for a set up (it was unplayable) and will use it at gig tonight. After 5 (or is it 6?) new-to-me Laklands in the last 6 months, I think this one will be a keeper.
I think a new pickguard (black abalone? red or brown tort? suggestions and/or mockups welcome!) and an Audere preamp will happen sooner. Maybe Chi-Sonics later since I just missed a great chance.

I thought so until I saw tort on seafoam green. It looked pretty darned good to me.

Unfortunately I had to sell the Chis, Skyline 44-64 and just about every other accesory I owned to get the new one without causing myself too much headache... if you know what I mean.

It'll have to do until a certain orange US version last seen on the California Coast becomes available. So probably forever.
Well, no kids here... but I do have to share my practice space with the dog. ALthough she just mostly sleeps and and snores while I play.
I actually told my girlfriend that the new bass I was getting was "prettier" and that it was "Tiffany's Green" so she approved...

Do you happen to know what strings are on it, including the gauges? I've been reading the thread on the new Fender Bass VI, and there's a lot of discussion about gauges and how they affect the tone.
Awesome! I love that color. Congrats.Marcus, that is a sweet looking Bass VI. You might need more hair to pull off the whole Robert Smith look though...
It is also new bass day for me, although my pictures are not as good... what do you want? I am at the office.

I don't know him personally, but based on his posts on this forum I am concerned that Marcus may not be gloomy enough to play Cure covers.
I dunno, I heard that his tongue's like poison, so swollen it fills up your mouth.
Haha... the next lyric in this song is almost too disturbing to post here. The Cure is one of my all time favorite bands, but I tend to prefer their more bubblgum songs. "Love Cats" is an all time favorite.
