I have 2 early US Laklands basses, #191 and # 368. The classic shape body 44-94. Could you tell me why some of them have pickguards and other doesn't ? Is it possible to buy these pickguards ? Where ?

This always happens to me, I get what I want and then something pops up that I think I might want more... I am sticking with the JO I bought from DS Carter and the Glaub I got from Tim Marks and a couple of non Laklands... everything else is seemingly fluid.



That is possibly the most impressive quilt I've ever seen. Why would you want to hide any of it with a pickguard ?![]()
