Our band "The Experience" is doing our annual Heritage Fest show on this coming Saturday at Grafelman Park, along Fifth Street, just north of Main street (Route 72), in West Dundee.

The show is a nice mix of secular and modern Christian Music.

Here is a link to the locations and parking maps:

We play from 10 AM to 11:30 on Saturday morning....

We only play "out" 1-2 times per year....I would love to see some LOGgers come to make faces at me while I am playing!!!

peace:

Doug

Tear it up, Doug. I'll be gassing up the Gulfstream...

Its blasphemy here, but I LOVE Duncan Quarter Pounders in my passive basses (44-60 and 44-64). They have a bit hotter output with the tone all the way up, but when you roll off the tone, you get a very thick vintage sound. On a jazz, these pups are very responsive to your attack and are great for almost any style. The amp and cab have a huge roll with the pups too. The QP's sound killer with 12's. I use Aggie DB212 and DB112's and either a Genz Streamliner or an Aggie TH500 depending on how I feel that night. Bassists in the crowd are usually pleasantly surprised when ask about my pups.

Oh, yeah, the QP's sound wonderful with flats!!!:D

I have QP's in my '74 jazz and they sound amazing!!!

I cannot wait! The keyboard is a surprise! A good one..

Life is great.....

Hope you stop by more...

Thanks bro! Yeah,I was a keyboardist long before bass...I just never played keys outside of church.I was organist there for 13 years before I switched to bass professionally.

Haha, thanks. We like to have a good time, feel free to like that page or our Facebook page and you'll get to see all our updates!

Cool! Just listened to the ballad too...are you using a pick on that song? You're getting a cool lil piano-like tone on some of those notes!

Ballad? Not sure which song/video you're referring to, but no picks were used on any of our uploaded media. That being said, my last name IS Steinway, and I do have sons...

None of that last bit is in any way true
