I saw PTO and immediately thought "power take off"...I miss the farm...

Lol....shows you that your reader has to know your acronyms...and his the same 3 letters can mean different things to different people.

I am sure many are wondering what you mean.....

I never GRES up on a farm but my in laws did and I appraise equipment with PTOs so I know....

Peace and healing TeX...

Wood shedding time! She's working on her one-handed tapping. Rather advanced for a one year old, but she's doing pretty well!

Excellent picture!

Love that bass!

Last time I was st carols I was reviewing the specs on the one you have on order...they are written on a piece of paper and taped to his tool box...that is going to be a nice bass!

That's awesome! Yeah I'm so excited, but the waiting is excruciating! I've been meaning to drop by and see Carl. Heck! I also have that Coral PJ bass body I got from JEDI that I gotta see about getting a neck for.

I'm curious if any LOGgers have experience with Sadowsky Will Lee 4 string basses as well as Lakland DJ4? It seems to me that they have a lot in common in the role of a downsized J bass. The 1.45" nut width on the WL is the most narrow I recall having heard of.

Comparison to Fender Geddy Lee would be interesting as well. The Geddy neck is nice but too thin/flat to me.

I've yet to own or even play a Sadowsky, for what its worth.

My favorite quote of Marvin Martian was " where is the earth shattering kaboom? There was supposed to be an earth shattering kaboom!!"

He needed a 5507 and needed to play an open B ....with the amp on 11!

Or the "destroy the world bass" Dan made for spinal tap!

Was going post pics but photo bucket appears down for maintenance

Yeah, I'm mean I figured Leo would really be the right guy to help me with the neck, but I'm just imagining going to Lakland to see Leo and bumping into Carl. After going there so many times to have my bass set-up and work on the specs for the new bass, I imagine things going like this:

"Hey Luke, good to see ya, Man. That's crazy seeing you here. Usually you give me a call though before you come down."
"Well Carl, I'm actually here to see Leo"
"Oh, Leo huh?" **shuffles feet awkwardly**
"Yeah...."
"Oh....OK....." **sniffles sadly and walks away**

You'll have to excuse me, I'm over-tired lol.
