The Lakland crew (and maybe others from that complex) checking out the eclipse. That's Steve Pirrucello and Carl Pedigo on the left. After that, it's tough for me to tell.
4th from left is John (looking down while holding something above his head) and I’m pretty sure the guy in front with the dark blue hoodie and red hat is the guy that finished and set up my 44-60. I feel bad that I can’t remember his name, although I’m sure he doesn’t remember me lol. I don’t see Leo in the pic.

It's probably worth that amount but I really can't add another bass unless it's extra special and/ or a steal! Sighhhh....

Yeah, between that, tber Joeykun’s red one and the blue one earlier, I’m really thinking about a custom AJ… i didn’t really dig the red or black “production” versions, but those two recent ones really got my brain racing…

I have a fretless "AJ"
It's not technically at AJ but it was built to pretty much the same specifications.

Does Lake Placid Blue photograph much differently than real life?
Commercial pictures (Sweetwater/zzounds) tend to show it as a light blue, whereas "real" pictures show it as a more deep blue.
Is it highly reflective so professional pictures with bright lighting show it as a lighter shade?

Today I replaced Bart pickups by LH-44 on my 44-94 Shoreline. It seems I like this mod very much. LH-44 pickups have more character and low end in my view than Bart set. Bought LH-44 set from Lakland website, excellent service.

The LPBs I’ve seen in person all look more similar to the standard “professional” stock photo. I think the darker one is an anomaly due to the lighting when the picture was taken.
Agree with this. I think Lake Placid Blue tends to respond to the lighting around it. However, that stock Sweetwater pic almost looks like their Ice Blue Metallic color. I have a 44-60 in Ice Blue Metallic and I think there must be a component of silver in there that tends to make the color appear different in alternate lighting situations.
