Same! I love that purple burst. I am usually not a fan of gold hardware but it looks great with the purple. I wish it had an ebony board and the back was not solid black.

I had inquired about the fretboard dot pattern. That is not correct. It should be all white dots. The shop selling that one doesn't have an actual bass. Sweetwater has some more pictures and the color isn't as deep.

I still like it though even if the color isn't as deep. I'd like to get one if one comes up under 9lbs, and the strings and bridge line up perfectly against the neck and pickups. It certainly will look better with the darkest rosewood possible, like all basses they'll probably vary a lot in color and weight.
FYI, these are all renderings, the basses have not arrived in the US yet. That's why some dots are black, it was just a Photoshop flub. Sweetwater and all other dealers are using the same pics with different backgrounds. I have the original pics (with transparent backgrounds) as I work with their distributor for Brazil.

I don't think you should find any difference between Indo and Korean neck profiles.
As far as the neck profiles I have both Korean and Indonesian Skylines (55-01/55-02/DJ5) and I can say that I feel a slight difference with the first couple years of the Skylines from Korea may have a slimmer profile. I have been told by Lakland directly that they are the same, but I can feel a slight difference between my 2003 55-01 and my 2017 55-01. Now, where I do know a difference is that the neck pocket on a Korean vs Indonesian will be different. I tried swapping necks with my 01 made in 2003 with several different Indonesian Skylines and they just would not work. I have swapped necks on Indo 5's several times with little issue.

Does anyone know if the DJ5 and 55-60 use the same pickups? Wondering if there are any tonal differences between them. I know they have a different body style and neck, but not sure about the electronics.

As of now, they have the same electronics.
There was a time (many years ago) when the DJ had Aeros and the 44-60 had other pickups....but they have the same pickups now.
Does anyone know how the Seymour Duncan Baseline pickups, that were used at one time on the 55-94, sound compared to the Bartolini or Lakland pickups? Hoping someone on this thread has tried them. I have both the Bartolinis and the Lakland but have not tried the Baseline pickups before.
Id say, percentage-wise, $100 off a Skyline is a better deal than $200 off a USA.
