Well that makes sense! Thanks I was just curious. I buy though Sweetwater and my "sales engineer" left but was a guitarist, now they paired me up with a drummer. Nice person but I'd much rather prefer a Bassist. If that's your name on your avatar, if you don't mind I'm going to ask to change to you next purchase from Sweetwater.

So… this happened today! Thanks to my guys at #Lakland and #Aguilar. There isn’t another one in the world like it. That Lakland Basses neck with that GORGEOUS top and the modern Gospel/Jazz tones I was looking for. Like a Lakland and an F-Bass BN5 Deluxe had a baby together. A really beautiful baby!

55-AJ, Ash body, Burl Maple Top
Roasted Maple neck, Roasted Maple fretboard (I love the contrast in color between the neck and fretboard!) Ebony Dots.
Here’s where it really gets interesting… Aguilar OBP-3: Volume/Blend/Mid with a switch (400hz/800hz)/stacked Bass/Treble and Aguilar Super Doubles
All black hardware (duh you can see that)… DR Medium Light High Beams tuned 1/2 step down (Bflat, Eflat, Aflat, Dflat, Gflat).

I’d to you but I’d probably ultimately end up being frustrating. Ask Kyle… I buy and return a lot of stuff. If I lived an hour closer to Fort Wayne, I probably wouldn’t be as big of a pain.

Ah, yes. I saw this one posted on Faceback Lakland group too, such a beautiful instrument. If I had an A list of basses to acquire, this would be on it! Enjoy it!

1) it is a Canadian sale and maybe he's pricing it that way because of the exchange rate

2) they are rare.

Looking at 2 55-60 skylines online. One is a Korean 2007 and one is an Indonesian 2016.
1. Which neck shape/profile will be most similar to my US 55-94 and 55-jj?
2. What else should I know about the differences?

I'm liking the look of these, I better save up so when they hit if I see a nice one that doesn't weigh too much maybe I can buy it. I like the gold hardware, wonder if it'll flake off in time. Shees if it had a matching headstock it'd really be killer to me.
