Lakland Owners Group #69

It will be interesting to hear how the Bartolini's fare with the Lakland Preamp. More EQ settings for sure. Both of mine are all Bartolini pickups and preamp. There's just something about the midrange in that system that I couldn't go without. Just my take of course.
Agreed. Easy fixes if it's not to my liking.

Anyone have anything fretless they're wanting to sell?
I've played this one for going on 30 years - it is here for life.

Saw it this morning, didn't last long... (I was tempted, but didn't do it ;))

That was a great deal on a 55-94 they're up around $5,500.00 for the deluxe version, especially with the Bartolini Pickups and Preamp.

Yep….finding a fretless 44-02 is near impossible. I did luck out finding a lite weight bass here on the classifieds. Just recently I found a new all maple fretless neck. I prefer ebony or richlite for a fretless board, but am quite surprised how much this maple board sings.

Damned handsome. I do feel fortunate to have found mine, especially like new at 11 years old.

Just a FYI, I have this up for sale. And I may be putting up my 2006 DudePit.

What strings are you using? And I am digging the PG.

Does anyone know what the original Bartolini preamp was in the -94 and -02 when the Bart pickups were installed as stock?

I used to own that bass!!! So weird to see it here. I love the wood grain on that. One of my selling regrets was getting rid of it. Enjoy it!

That was very helpful and thank you. Following up on this, can anyone confirm if the center coil selector switch, for both coils active, has them in series or parallel? In digging around this morning I have not yet found the definitive answer. TY
