Early Report:
I don't think I've ever been in love with a bass like this before.
1. I never found a 5 string I liked (particularly the neck) until now.
2. I never found a bass in which I can go to a jazz rehearsal, then an hour later a rock rehearsal with one bass, and it work for both environments.
3. Hum cancelling pickups! YES!

Well there you go!!!!

You finally found Lakland!

I agree on all accounts!

Can I play? I just received my new Honey Burst 5502. 8.5 lbs of pure sweetness! Also pictured is my 2010 5501 that a bought a couple years ago form a fellow TB'r but it now sports an Audere 4 band pre. The second pic of the 5502 is with the flash on to show the color and quilt better. It's an odd story how I ended up getting the 5502 direct from Lakland but that's another post.
