Aguilar hot's they're almost too aggressive! I've got the 4j hot set in my jo and I've had a ball with them... But I am about to pull them for aj60's because I find it difficult to get sweet and clean out of it.

I have a lakland 55-02 and i recently found out that the strings are all off to the treble side, plus the a string is not centred on the dot inlay.

I have felt that it was negligible when I got it a few years ago, but now, I somehow feel that the gap between the g string and the edge of the board is just too small.

is there any way to fix this?

Try loosening the neck bolts and shifting the neck over a bit. Often that's all it takes. The bridge saddles can also get pushed towards one side and cause this problem.

Yummy!!!

Love my dual J but it has a pre-amp installed by a previous owner.... Sounds awesome though...the grindiest bass I own!

PS - love the LPB as well!

PPS - forgive me if I say somehting that has already been said...or is no longer applicable! I'm cathcing up on a month of posts here....

They is GREAT basses...lowest price DOES NOT mean low quality...

Never owned one but am sure I will some day.
