sweet!
Sure, this bass was something I had talked to Carl Pedigo about building almost 2 years ago and just got now. Although he still does plenty of things for Lakland, he also has his own brand of basses, which are modified Laklands. Seems he'll do things that are slightly outside of the asthetic of Lakland's vision, most notably for me, a 34" Lakland 5 string. The low B String is still phenomenal and the neck is a bit thinner it seems from Lakland's neck profile. The specs are:
"Leeloo"
Serial #22
●Flame Maple Top
●String-thru Mahogany Body
●34" Scale Birdseye Maple Neck
●1.81" at the nut
●Ebony Fretboard w/ Mother of Pearl Inlays
●Vintage-Sized Fretwire
●Graphite Reinforcement Bars
●3 Chi-Sonic Humbuckers
●Volume/Volume/Volume/Tone w/ Pull up for Single Coil
●Chrome-plated Single Coil Selection Switch for Middle Humbuckers
●Chrome-plated Hipshot Ultralight Tuners
●Chrome-plated 19mm spacing Hipshot "A" Style bridge
●Hand Made Ebony Control Knobs
●Not sure about weight, but I'd guess near 10lbs, or a bit less
I got her 2 days ago, but had to go straight to work after I picked her up. Yesterday I played togethed acoustically for 2 hours. Today...I plugged her in. Lost 3 hours. Have no idea where the time went.
