How would you describe a Lakland 55-01 neck?

Exactly like a 55-02 neck...what have you played previously? it's flat, smooth, soft contours on the sides, a wider than Ibanez, but very comfortable. The spacing is perfect for me, wider than most.

I just sold a '96 Warwick Corvette. That's what I'm use to.

The Lakland will feel a bit thinner front to back than the Warwick. I think the warwick is a flatter radius as well... but those are really just based on numbers. I think the Lakland necks are the best feeling necks in the business

It's a Lakland...if you like Nickles...try Lakland Nickles...or Lakland Stainless...I like them both.

Really like the "old" DR Marlus Miller strings (but I don't think they are made any more)....

DR Nickel Lo-Riders or Pure Blues... both string through the body with no problem. Lo-Riders are stiffer feeling.

I play a 55-14 and a thumb bolt on 5. The Lakland is the best neck I've ever felt. Nothing has come Close in my experience.
