I know these come up every once in a while but I have not seen it in a long time so I thought that since I just did this I'd post up my experience. The black aluminum "Sadowsky Style Knob" is a popular addition to the XX-02 and XX-94 models and possibly others. The most popular seem to be the genuine Sadowsky or the Best Bass Gear variant. I actually had a nice set of the BBG version but two of the four were stacked so no go for the new 55-02. So I went shopping. But I kept stopping short of hitting the buy button because a delivered cost of $10.00/knob (or a $50 set) afer taxes and shipping was a hard swalllow.
So as I searched I found a couple mentions of a similar, if not the exact, match to these made by Kilo Internations. And these could be easily purchased through Allied Electronics Automation. I can now report that all three points are exactly right. I bought the gloss black .75" version, model JD-75-2-5. There are other finish options and siozes as well.

So, five at $6.22 each was $31.10 Shipping a more reasonable $6.18 and state sales tax at $3.26 my total was just over $40.00 delivered. And that's a price I could live with. Fast shipping and installed tonight. One nice feature is that these have two allen set screws. Great quality and I think they look great, indistinguishable from the similar pricier options.
So, here now sits the info for future searches and posterity.
