The fretted is roasted and has some serious low end.
New family photos: just added this Fiesta Red 55-64. You probably saw it in the classifieds. #5BG 01 will go nicely with this Lake Placid Blue #5BG 21 I had made a couple years ago.

That's a beautiful set of basses you have there. I missed seeing that fiesta red 5BG or I would have gone for it. That PJ sound is really good. Although I would like to try a dual P sometime to compare.

Dang dude- those are all gorgeous, but I’m loving that maple ‘board 55-94... there’s a local shop with a similar one (at least on their website), and I’m staying away from there for a reason

You are correct. I went there once a few years ago for a Stu Hamm clinic, had no idea they have that impressive a Lakland selection. Fortunately for my finances, I’m not on that side of town often

Never tell me the odds. A Darkstar Lakland P was the bass I wanted for a long time but they seem so rare.it will never (never say never) leave my shrinking collection.

I hear ya! Beautiful bass, but I have not quite gelled with a P bass yet. Still need to try one with flats and the right pups to get me gassing for one.
Yes, even the darkstar equipped Lakland Ps have went bye-bye. Part of that was timing though. I think I could love a DS Glaub now.
A dual DS equipped Lakland would be a definite keeper!
I had a white HoBo with dual DS's...then my truck's engine exploded...I sold it to pickles on here, but I think he's since moved it on.
The sound was...incredible
