Lakland Owners Group #69

I’m gonna need a number if they’re still being given out. Last month I finally got my Lakland. Skyline 44-64 Custom in Ice Blue Metallic. Absolutely in love and haven’t wanted to pick up my other basses since I picked her up. Haven’t taken many pictures but you get the idea.

Fralin, Seymour Duncan, Nordstrand, and others offer 51 style P bass pickups that are either 2 coils side-by-side (Fralin) or 2 stacked coils (S. Duncan). I think the Fralin 51 sounds more like a modern split P while I’ve heard some of the stacked ones retain the barky single coil sound. These would be my choice for a 51 tele style P.

Pm me for a number.. And congrats on a sweet bass!

I can’t imagine being more pleased with a pair of basses than I am with these.
Lākland US 44-64 and Sadowsky Satin 5-21 Vintage.

(also posted this in the Sadowsky thread)
I’ve ended up with a Sadowsky metro Will Lee 4 string and a 55-94 - a good pair and the relative tones of each bass make a good pair
