Nordstrand NJ5FS 5 string split coil set. They sound amazing and very close to the stock single coils. I was expecting a difference, but can't ear one in the comparison I did in Logic Pro.

Delano pickups look so great, especially for a Jazz Bass or Lakland 55-01 and the idea of a hum bucking Jazz Bass is very appealing.

I think we need to see this one again, it's one of the nicest Skyline finishes I've had the pleasure of casting my eyes on. While I'm definitely a flame maple guy, this particular quilted maple top is a beauty, especially with

the amber finish.

NBD! Actually yesterday. It's been a while for me. Got this US Glaub right here in the classifieds. A bit of a parts bass - a late Dan era '09 1.5" neck mated to a Chisonic routed bod. Light, fast action, dark chocolate neck. Currently sporting EMG Geezers which sound pretty good. Glad I pulled the trigger.

Yes it is the current style of case that Lakland is using with a "Lakland" plate between to two latches - lower left in that pic.

I’m thinking of changing the strings on my 44-01. Do you have a preference for a particular round wound? I use Dunlop nickel brights on my Ibanez but I’m wondering what might suit my Lakland best. It still has its factory strings on it after 3 years.
