Lakland Owners Group #69

Is there a group for 55-94 stuff, or does that go here, or both?

I spent this afternoon futzing with setup til I got it where I like it. Always a but of back and forth with relief and string height to get it just so...

Then spent some time messing with the mid dip switch settings and settled on 275. Maybe that seems "low" for mid adjust, but everything else felt like it wasn't doing all that much, and lower than that was in fact into the lows. At 275 it seems to add a nice heft and punch to it that "isn't bass." I don't know how to describe that better.

I'd had three(?) 55-02 before I bought this. It's pretty nice.

What?!! Skylines aren’t heavy!!

(says the guy with the heaviest one ever!)

From what I've heard it kind of depends on which of the Skylines you have, my Indonesian Skyline 55-02 and my U.S. 55-94 are almost exactly the same weight. @ 8.5 lbs.

I guess the 55-94 is just weighted and balanced better. So it feels lighter on my shoulders. Hard to say.
