I had the great pleasure to play the Scheff JJ had iconic bass IMHO! Also had the pleasure to play JJ’s 3 pup BIG RED! Another uniquely awesome bass! When is LowEndLobster posting review of Big Red JJ ?
@MAXSPINRUN wow, what a nice, rare bass. What color is it? Root beer over quilted maple? Love the binding and mother of pearl. Please tell me the headstock matches. 
I wish it was mine. Very unique, really stands out as something special. I can only imagine what it sounds like, especially with the bridge and neck without the middle pup engaged.
