Here is my Lakland Skyline AJ-5. I think I'm the third owner.
It came with a Glocklenkland onboard preamp, the previous owner can't tell me if the bass came from factory with this preamp or if it was a modding done by the first owner.
Anyway, I love Glock preamps, so it's good for me. I've add a switch for changing from passive to active instead of using the volume pot and I've add a passive tone control too (the small knob).
The inlays are adhesive stickers from Jockomo, in two years they are perfect, no any tiny corner is deatached from the fingerboard.
I'm very happy with this bass. As an amateur musician, it seems wonderful for me, no flaws, it's almost perfect

I don't believe that is stock. I think those came with a Bartolini MK-1 pre. Or maybe some version of the LH pre.
I'm sure it's a great bass! Personally, I have 4 and all of them are great!

FedEx dropped this off over the weekend, and I couldn't be happier. It's been awhile since I've had a Lakland, but I've owned several Skylines and one USA in the past. This one is by far the best out of all of them, and I forgot how good the 1.75" Lakland P neck feels.
I historically do a lot of flipping, but I think this one will stay with me forever. What else could I want in a P bass?

Re: Cobalt Flats, any preferences on .45 vs. .40's? I've been using Sadowsky .045 blue label flats to date for reference. Gracias!

I have them on one of mine and it is tuned E-C.....it is killer for when I need that specific tone. I lean on the bridge MM pup for a lot of tone out of them, but also if I am wanting that "p-bass thump" I will just solo the neck pup.
Do know if this only for outside of the US sales? I would like to get my hands on one!
I've got EB Cobalt flats on my 44-64 Custom Fretless, gauges 45-100. To me they feel just as flexible as a 45-100 roundwound set. I string them through the back of the bridge, not through body.
Probably because everyone is discussing flats, I just pulled my GHS Precision flats off my (formerly @Lovep's) Skyline 55-60 Custom and threw on a set of Lakland medium steels. I'm nothing if not contrarian! 
Ok since we are discussing flats and rounds, anyone have rounds on a Lakland fretless? I've thought of giving them a go.
Fretless basses have to have rounds. Or if you want to reduce fretboard chewing, the Cobalt Flatwounds.

I do....on all my fretless basses.... Love the sound!
They do scratch the board but only sightly... The wear had never been an issue
