Ah, so you haven't been there since the change. We had to reset users passwords when we migrated to a new platform.

Try going to the Link Removed page and having a temp password sent to your registered email address. Start a conversation here with me if that doesn't work and I'll track down how to get you back in.
Oh, thanks! It worked. You're the supermoderator! =)
Great ones that you're having on sale. I admit each one made me itchy.

No, it isn't just you. I've been 'Lakland only' since my first Shoreline 4-94 , and that was 7 years and 7 or 8 Laklands ago. Also, I am longing for the 55-94 again (given I own a perfect 4-94 for the time being). As a matter of fact, I am posting a sale/trade for 55 thread at LOG right now...

Received my Skyline 3T maple board JO5 yesterday. I thought I wanted to add a pre, but looking at keeping it passive. Haven't owned a passive bass in years, so it's taking some getting use to. I do believe I may replace pups with some Aeros though.

LOGers...

I am considering a US JO AJ that was equipped from the factory with the Bart Pre and Fralins. I love the neck on this bass and the active sound is really good, but want it to have a more versatile passive sound. So, I am considering installing a J-Retro Deluxe (4 pots which includes a passive tone control).

First of all, will it fit?
Secondly, is it a worthy upgrade?

Thanks!

Cross posting this in preamp/pickup section too.

Happy Sunday-a little update regarding the 5501 that I had modded to passive Lace Alumitones. I had previously said the pups had some noise when I wasn't touching the strings/ bridge, but it turns out that was the PJB practice combo I was using at the time. The pups are killer. No noise with my larger GB/Mesa equipment, good output and great tone, both on my own and in the band setting. I am really digging this bass :-)
