I believe US models are sequential.

I believe the 55 is the series and the last two digits refer to the number manufactured....you MAY have the 18th one made....

The US models are sequential but they started at 1. I've got the first 55-94 and and it's numbered 5001.

Hi- my USA Deluxe maple fingerboard 55-94's serial number is 667x. It dates from 2004, that much I do know but as to day/month of manufacture, I have no idea......
