I just picked one up and it's amazing. It's much more versatile than a Dano. It's nice and small and light. It feels great.

Looks neat, but my personal Lakland fantasy is a 35" 5 string hollowbody ;-)
The "street price" seems to have increased to $1,500 at Musician's Friend:

Are they still made in Korea? That's a lot of $ for a mass produced Asian import.
I can't find much information or any reviews of this bass on the web. Does anyone have any information to share about the short scale hollow body? Looks interesting.
