Here's a new arrival from G&L that is available for sale! I ordered this one with K-Wiring, so you can run the pickups in single coil as well as the usual series & parallel modes.

And FWIW, Old School Tobacco Burst is now officially one of my favorite colors.

Well, my photo booth finally warmed up enough to let me get back there and shoot a bunch of stuff that had been piling up. Here's the first of two G&L's I'll get posted today. Check out the grain in the Ash on this L1K, it's really pretty!

It's been too cold to get back in our unheated studio space. I could barely stand being back there long enough to take the photos. Maybe once it thaws out, but that looks to still be a while away...

Yeah, I picked the right winter to not be in Blacksburg!

If you do get around to doing sound clips, any of the G&Ls you have would be nice to hear (especially the LB-100 and L-1000). I know you did a little L-1000 a bit ago but I'd love to hear some samples with the highs rolled off a bit. Everyone does clips wide open and I nearly never actually play wide open. (and I'd love to hear if the ash/maple sounds different than the alder/rosewood I played there).

No worries if not, though. Without a bass here in Belfast I just have way too much time to dream....

Here's the Blackburst L-2000 I mentioned late last week. I managed to capture quite a bit of glare of the full front shot (sorry about that!!), but the closeup of the body is a very realistic depiction of how the bass looks.

Here are two G&L LB-100 bass fresh off the boat... er, I mean the brown truck!

The Fullerton Red one has a #12 neck w/ the Vintage Tint Satin finish, and the Graphite Metallic one has a quartersawn, #12 neck w/ untinted satin finish. Both are Alder/RW.
