I hope it's cool for me to post this here, but since Steve hasn't done so himself I thought somebody should -- and this seemed like the best place to get the word out to the right people.

This coming Monday, November 18, Steve will be doing a live show as a live stream/webcast with fellow bass virtuoso/sonic explorer Julie Slick. More info here:

I found a post on Steve's FB page confirming that the 8:00 pm. start time refers to "U.K. time," so those of us in the States and elsewhere will have to do the math. Call in sick to work if you have to....

"Sadly, due to a bit of a technical mix-up (Julie & her gear being in different cities) the gig is postponed til next year."

For those of you in the U.K.: Steve Lawson has just announced a show with Julie (and drummer Andy Edwards) in Birmingham on April 6th (shortly after the end of the current Crimson ProjeKCt tour). Here's the info:

Unlike the Lawson/Slick show that was announced but postponed last year, this one doesn't look to be available as a live stream over the interwebs: good news for those of your around Birmingham, but bad news for the rest of us!
