BTW, on another thread there was some talk of a Bergantino 2x8. I asked Jim about this and he said there are no plans for anything like that. So for 2x8s it's either LDS or EA (if it ever happens).

Hey Adrian If you find that AMT collecting dust , put me first on the list to buy it from you. I just put the underwood on my bass last night to mix with the vektor (just to hear if it added anything) and it didn't the Vektor had much more to offer and didn't need and underwood. But I'd really love to try that AMT sometime.
I still plan to keep using the AMT but I definitely can't use much of it with the LDS. It definitely adds some presence to the overall signal but I find that with the LDS at lower volumes, it's too harsh especially without aggressive EQ. At higher volumes, the mic is in danger of bleed and feedback.
Overall I find the LDS is better at higher volumes as it cuts through but I hate it for lower volumes. Oddly enough that's where the B-1 was great - and I feel it would be a great cab for someone that doesn't have a lot of acoustic sound from the bass or has a thin sound.
