I'm about to watch the Season 3 final episode. I don't know if they'll make a Season 4. I still don't see where Kiera is a "bad guy" as many people led me to believe. I'm still with her, but I'm sad that this could be my last episode of one of the best shows I've seen in a very long time.

I just swapped the pick guard and truss rod cover to black, to make the Ric more black. I posted a sequence post on the creation of the pieces over on the Ric Club thread. This picture is my latest three projects - the Leafenbacker, the SVT810e refinish, and the blackout Jetglo.

Now I can start on my pedalboard, and 4001.

I dig the black on black - never was a big fan of the Ric pg shape so seeing it blend in/disappear makes the bass look much better! But do you think the tr cover could have been… skip it. ;)

Funny thing is, I usually don't like stories with time travel - the story line always gets twisted up like a pretzel. I thought they did a pretty good job with this one though.

My suggestion is to start a boutique TRC company "TRC-R-US" - manufacture them in Indonesia for a penny a piece and sell them for $50. Hail (modern) Capitalism!

Technically, black is the absence of all colour. At least as far a light goes. (white is the combination of all colours - how about that for a concept)

I'm surprised that no one has done that yet. I'd venture to say that one could get $75 or more each.

And that's why a black hole is black - it sucks in everything, including light, so nothing escapes. A paint made of this material though, might add a few pounds to the instrument.

I think you can buy numbered Fender-style knobs that "go to 11" - I've know I've seen them but after a quick look on ebay I couldn't locate one.

And just when you thought it was safe to venture out into the universe...

Thanks! I am playing the Ric more though. There's nothing like the clank of a 4001/4003. The Leafenbacker comes close, and actually does a nice Jazz type sound too, which a Ric can't quite muster.

I think that's very cool. It seems I've seen that before somewhere. Yeah, it does tend toward cartoonish, but it's still pretty awesome. I'd rock it :)
