Yeah I don't think it is. I might be wrong, but I don't think the pink one was either? I guess unless you're close to the border it's gonna cost a fair bit more to get it.

yes! Sorry if that wasn’t clear, free shipping and bass was $359+tax. (Believe it was around $383 total IIRC) I also called fender the next day after not receiving the free $45 gift card, $300 gift card was in my email within minutes. I was told that the free $45 GC would take 3-5 days to process. Mine took 3 days. Now waiting for a shipping notification for the Rascal!

How easy is it to swap the pickgaurds? Does it just come right off or do you have to undo all the pickups / pots?

She’s here, and she is beautiful. The photos don’t do the paint job justice, using older iPad to snap a few quick shots. No issues, and seems very well made.

that is awesome, and would bring the thunder. My SS Starcaster bass with those pickups is the hottest signal with the most authoritative tone I have heard in a bass.

Any interest in selling your starcaster? I'm close to your location!

yes, you have to remove the pickups and the pots. i had to replace the tone pot on mine since i couldn't cleanly pull the knob off the pot shaft.

This thing is a dream come true. I wanted to be a short scale convert, but the lower string tension of my mustang always had me going back to my pbass. This feels so much more along the lines of a long scale, it’s awesome. Plus it looks and sounds cooler than hell

So had an idea to add wire in two concentric vol/tone pots (like a 62 jazz) and replacing the switch for a dpdt for coil splitting, (on/off/on switch to get outer coils/humbuckers/inner coil) Simple mod, have the correct Fender pots/knobs. No real reason, happy with the Rascal, just feel like trying something different. Do you think it would be worth it? Can’t imagine it would have any negative effects and easily reversible. Thanks
