For a long time, my pet peeve was people who only read the first post of a thread and then reply.
But then I discovered something worse:
People who don't even properly read the first post and then reply.

On the flip side of this coin, I have made some pretty cool friends here, so I will never entirely leave. I have also learned a lot about how other musicians process and/or understand things related to music in ways that baffle me, because I am not them. It's a huge world of diverse tastes, abilities and talents. There's a ton to learn here.
I wouldn't normally ignore @Spidey2112... we actually have alot in-common... love for Rush, play bass, both from Ohio, etc... but you see he seems to have this inexplicable love for a certain college football team and I just can't abide it.. In fact, it may very well be what I hate the most about TB.
You should report it as you see it so we can deal with these things as they come up.
I work 45-50 hour weeks on top of being a dad and husband. Please try to understand we have lives outside of the forum and can't see everything at once. Thanks.

That's like saying Paul Revere's house should have siding. I'd be happy if they would stop " improving " 475, and leave it alone.
Well, I can be rather opinionated and shoot from the hip. Of course when anyone does that on a forum it can come off as rude or a-hole-like. I usually only write things with the intent to help or inform others, and I am not always right.
It is always fun being in a room full of experts. It can get contentious and preachy. Then again there is something to be said for having a fountain of knowledge at your fingertips. Sometimes you have to have a thick skin,
I think the overall tone of posts are good, no name calling and the moderators do a great job keeping things civil.

Man, 1 and 3 are my exact criticisms. So bored of seeing weight discussions, and I find that some people’s “opinions” can be rather overbearing, like your will to choose don’t actually exist.

All in all a great forum, but a pity they let minors in.
I've been here long enough that I've seen most threads before. Pretty muted complaint in the grand scheme of things.
