Length of your 'B' String

What Length 'B' String would be best for your Bass

Yeah, sure would make it lots easier for some 5'ers-
been using tapers sometimes.
Still leaves the 6'ers in a lurch, tho.
38" will fit the SRX 5'ers (2x3), but not the Godin or Hohner if they were reversed to 2x3.
I guess Fender 5's would have to be thru-body strung with 38"s as well.
 
On my 35" scale 5-string, the Ernie Ball regular bass 5 set is long enough _except_ that all of my tuning pegs are on one side (fender style) so the G string is just _baaarely_ long enough. Probably can't run it string thru because of the length but *shrug* next time I'll get the extra long ones.
