These are my contribution to this thread.

The one on the wall is a 1999 Carvin LB76f fretless. I had it built after working all summer after graduating high school.
The second is a 1993 LB76. I bought it in 2002 and immediately drive it up to Morganton, GA. Greg Curbow had his shop up there. Greg installed Bartolini quadcoils and preamp.

I took up 4-string electric bass in 1976.
I started playing a 6-string bass in 2004.

It doesn't feel like 16 years.

I like soundclips and don't hear enough. I made this demo a while ago - it has 4 or 5 bass tracks in it; all of them except one is the six string (the one that isn't is the slap track, which is actually my other Skjold).

I'm kind of proud to say that the bass solo at 1:40 was the first take.

I've been playing a six-string exclusively for 30 years this year. I bought the walnut-topped six in my photo new in 1992, and it has been my No. 1 since.

Yea this Ibanez of mine is the bomb! I actually ordered a Schecter Stiletto 6, but it went right back. QC was garbage and it had severe neck dive along with being on the heavier side. Glad I took a chance on this one, plays great, looks great, setup is fantastic. I dig yours too, very beautiful bass!

Too bad about your Schecter. Mine was great out of the box and was my main for 8 years. Turned into a closet queen and eventually got moved after I joined TB. This Ibanez is no joke though. It is a solid instrument.

Yea I was disappointed with the schecter but actually glad it didn’t work out. This Ibanez I got is really the perfect bass, for me anyways. It’s light, no neck dive, plays and sounds great and it was cheaper haha.
