That would have been my first quality bass if 16 year old me had the patience to wait another two weeks! Ended up with a Schecter Stiletto Custom 6 as it was a little cheaper.

Here is mine now, an SR406. I don't see this one sticking around forever, but I also doubt I'll be letting it go soon either.

Yea this Ibanez of mine is the bomb! I actually ordered a Schecter Stiletto 6, but it went right back. QC was garbage and it had severe neck dive along with being on the heavier side. Glad I took a chance on this one, plays great, looks great, setup is fantastic. I dig yours too, very beautiful bass!

This thread of everyone's beautiful basses really brought back memories of long gone 6 stringers. The 2006 Ibanez BTB456 replaced my stolen 1996 Carvin LB76 which the police recovered in 2009. Ironically, I sold the Ibanez (seen here on it's last day) to pay for my recovered Carvin, which I was actually allowed to take home before contacting my insurance. The Carvin was eventually sold as it seemed "tainted" from it's 3 years in the hands of bad people haha. I still miss it though.
