The one on the left, obviously.

Very cool to see another Basslab here! There can't be many of them around. I have a 2001 L-Bow 5 string and I absolutely love it.

The only six string I have at the moment is this really cool Manne fretless from 1990. It has beautiful figured maple wings.

This thread is :woot::drool:. Im glad to see so many offerings at a wide range of price points.

Those Ibanez and that Peavey Cirrus, and Tobias really stand out, But everything is just lovely. Im looking forward to seeing the Yamaha, Ken Smith, MusicMan Bongo and MTD offerings .

I would love to have a Bongo 6!! That’s my dream bass……sigh, maybe one day
Put some $$$ aside and check often on GC used . Ive seen some great deals on used Bongo 6 models there. Thats is how I snagged my BFR Fretless Fuego for close to 1K less than new price. I almost went for a Bongo 6 in aqua blue sparkle that they kept dropping the price on . They seem to price 6 strings and fretless models too low because they dont sell as quickly .

I hear that! Yea I think many people are “scared” of a 6 to be honest, that may be why there’s many to be had. I steered clear for years and finally took a chance. Now I can’t see myself going back haha. Thanks for the heads my friend up I’ll definitely take a looksie.

Oh, also check out Music Go Round online. great deals to be had there too.

Many people fear the fretless too. I sure did for a long time. So glad I finally took the plunge.

I love my Dingwall Afterburner. Best low B and high C I've ever tried. One of my favorite modern visual designs, too.
The old P-bass might seem like a polar opposite, but they have more in common than one might think. Both are passive and have flatwound strings. Apparently the Dingwall pickup coils are split & placed in the classic P position. (Can sort of tell from the photo??) Apparently it's no accident that the sound has been well received, onstage and in the studio.
